  2. Actually, the time was exactly right for what LUCAS created. But it was strictly available in the very, very active world of underground comics and literature. What we young fans didn’t have was…the holy grail, a film! Lucas and also Ridley Scott were well aware of the hundreds of thousands of Sci fi, horror, adventure fans out there who weren’t being served.
